PRESET STYLES
Big City Lights
Shots made at night can use some “Big City Lights” magic. This preset brings all the right values back to your night photos. Also smashes indoor photos, where the lights are turned on.
Birds
Where I love the strong “The OG” on men, I love “Birds” on the ladies. Although I have to admit I like a smooth silky skin every now and then, too. Don’t be afraid to crank up that exposure slider to make those glowy skin tones to life.
Black Cat
Where “White Cat” is soft, and mainly for portraits, “Black Cat” if for the grainy, heavy contrast, bangers. Throw it on your street photography shots. Herni Cartier Bresson, who dis?
Blue Pill
We all love that bright blue water and white beaches. With the “Blue Pill” you emphasize exactly that. Make it pop! Use on any sunny day near blue water.
Day at the Park
I love this one for your normal day-to-day mobile phone shots. Nice, soft tone, with a touch of grain. Try it out next time you’re in the park!
It’s Fashion
I love to put this one on photos of girls. With its blue, yet soft tones it makes a photo of any girl, of smooth skinned guy for that matter, go from “alright” to “Vogue” real fast.
Jungle Fever
This one makes all your greens go on steroids. Works best in lush surroundings. A forest, a (rice) field, and of course if you are in the jungle.
Looking Sharp
Bold move choosing “Looking Sharp”. This preset sharpens the hell out of your photo, making it tech sharp. Works well on a portrait of your granddad. And on architecture.
Makan
Do you take photos of your food? Of course you do. We all do. Sprinkle the “Makan” (Indonesian for “eat”) over your photo and see your dish come to life.
Mr. Sandman
If I think of beach vibes, this is what I think of. Warm colours, with the blue of the water in the background. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen.
New School
After “The OG”, this became my favourite preset. I still use it 90 percent of the time. Softer tones, nice grain, and gives a great tan.
Popcorn
Emerge into your favourite Marvel movie with this preset. The poppy teal blue with orange combo is something you often see in movies. Works like charm in urban environments with nice bright colours.
Powder Turns
Spending time in the snowy mountains is one of the best ways to spend time. Next time you’re on the board or skis, this preset will be your friend. Works best of bright days, so sunny and bright overcast ones!
Quick Fix
This preset has the least amount of colour grading in it but just makes your photo butterly smooth. Just the right amount of contrast, sharpening, and tones. It’s the perfect base to tune the picture further to your own taste.
Submarine
For that underwater fun. Being underwater makes all colours turn blue. With this preset these blues turn into the right kind of blues.
Sunsets 4 Life
Sunsets are so beautiful in real life, but they can be tricky to shoot. “Sunsets 4 Life” will aid you with these. Creating a nice even glow to make the photo look like the real thing.
The OG
This is the preset where I edited pretty much all my photos up until early 2019. Bright highlights, and dark skin tones. Works very well on evenly lit photos. Maybe a bit too strong for girl skin. (See “Birds” for better girl skin tones.)
The Rat Race
This one is for those city moments. Roads, walls, buildings suddenly start looking like a runway backdrop with “The Rat Race” on it. Works with every daytime city shot, but you’ll be surprised that it creates a lot of interesting scenes in other situations.
Thrift Shop
Feeling nostalgic? Use the “Thrift Shop”, and your feelings will be heard. These vintage, faded and colourful tones give your photo a straight-up vintage feel.
White Cat
Black and white shots are always cool. If done right. Use “White Cat” on your portraits, or for the shots where you want a more toned down feeling.
